PE and Sport Premium
School PE and Sport Funding
The government is providing additional funding to improve provision of physical education and sport in primary schools. This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on the provision of PE and sport in school. We pride ourselves in being happy and healthy place to learn. We’ve developed an action plan to ensure this funding is invested (rather than “spent”) to maximise the long term impact of our PE provision for pupils and staff.
Our PE provision shows how we are investing the money and the way we closely monitor the impact. We have continued to implement successful activities as well as implementing new initiatives following evaluation of the previous year.
Plans include:
training all staff and support staff;
training PE leaders;
Joining in new PE activities e.g. Orienteering;
introducing new After School Clubs;
supporting the breakfast club with new fitness activities
